Deadline Extended for Communications Survey
Columbia Heights Public Schools has partnered with SCoPE School Surveys to gain input on the District’s communications. These surveys seek feedback from our staff, parents and community members on how information is received and whether the communication is considered to be effective.
The District has decided to extend the participation deadline through Friday, Sept. 20 -- so if you haven't had a chance to participate we invite you to do so. These surveys will help us learn whether our audience prefers receiving an email, seeing a post on social media or reading about something in the local paper. We will also find out if we are providing enough information about key topics and issues.
If you haven't had a chance to share your thoughts and experience yet, we strongly encourage you to take the time to give us this extremely valuable feedback. Effective communication is essential to supporting our students’ success as well as our success as a school district. Once again, we need to hear from you on what is working and what is not.
The District’s SCoPE Surveys will be open for participation until Friday, Sept. 20.
*A message was sent out to all District families notifying them of the deadline extension on Sept. 12. If you have an active email address on file with the District, you should have received an email with a direct link to the survey.
Use the buttons below to navigate to the survey you wish to participate in. Some participants will inevitably fall into multiple categories (i.e. parents/guardians are also community members in many cases). If this applies to you, you are invited to participate in both surveys. Please note: if you are a parent/guardian, you will need to complete one survey for each child that attends school in CHPS as the survey includes questions regarding communication at the classroom/teacher level.
SCoPE Surveys are conducted online in a secure portal and take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Surveys may be accessed on desktop and laptop computers, as well as most tablets and smartphones. The surveys are available in English and Spanish and participation is completely anonymous.
